I got the first (short) version
As I mentioned before, I found the front bushings were too short
Specifically the inner bushing was short by about 10 mm
I don't remember the exact amount.
As Bernie said the frame floats in stock form
As ConVerTT said, the additional amount is needed on the bottom of the bushing, not the top ( at least to put the subframe in the stock location ).
So I added a solid spacers ( like the ones used on the driveshaft center bearing bracket ) that only clamped onto the inner bushing.
I wasn't happy about having to go through all this, but so far it has worked without issue.
I have tracked my car and street driven with these bushings and they seem to be working with less vibration than you would get with solid bushings.
